Pankaj,
Post this to a SAP career thread to get more dedicated answers from Experts
I would say since you have costing/accounting experience it will have an edge. the salary will vary from company to company. SAP is a very lucrative career and need dedicated preparation to break in to the competitive world. However if you are equipped with knowledge, skills and right attitude to put an extra effort to learn SAP. It will reward you for sure but as Jammy said earlier it will be difficult to put a salary tag for a beginner in SAP. Some companies pays based on domain experience and knowledge which you have, some companies pay based on skills and certification only.
Thank You
