Use of Activity Type Categories

Hi tapas,

      I was asking about usage of activity type category  while creating new activity master data (KL01) , for ex:

1. Manual Entry / Manual allocation
2. Indirect Determination, Indirect Allocation
3. Manual Entry / Indirect allocation
4. Manual Entry, No Allocation

can you give some example of the activity type categories and its usage
