Error R3TR XXXX XXXX was repaired in this system

Hi,

I want to apply patch SAPKH60007 to our ECC6.0 development server, and got this error during spam:

R3TRFUGRFACI was repaired in this system

I found that the object mentioned in the message is locked in a transport request that has not been released. I checked with the owner of the transport request, they implement a SNote but they DO NOT want to transport it to production server, so the owner didn't release the transport request.

My questions:

i) Should the owner release the transport request?

ii) Will the changes get transported to production server if they just release the transport request?

iii) Or is there anyway to delete the transport request to unlock the object so I could continue with the patch?

We only have development and production server.
