Hi Experts,
In our demo ECC environment, we are creating new materials via MM01 for POC purpose. We have already created materials in MM01. We are following 12 digit format for GTIN(EAN UPC) for all the products. When we try to enter the following EAN numbers (100000000109, 100000000208) , we are getting the following error message ("WE218 : The EAN 100000000406 has an incorrect check digit") .
We have also checked the intervals in " Maintain Intervals: Intl Article Numbers" as in the below screenshot.
When we tried to enter EAN of already created products it is giving the below warning. But both the numbers are in 12 digit format only.
Kindly advice what should be appended at the right and explain us or suggest some link about check digit algorithm. We have also referred some of the threads regarding this EAN error but we could not understand properly and resolve the issue. Kindly suggest a solution.
