Problem with Standard WBS Creation (CJ91,CJ92)

Hi SAP Gurus

I am facing an absurd behaviour in CJ91 and CJ92. While creating or Changing a Standard WBS Element, In WNS column and Short id Column it displays only 16 Character which caters to my 2nd level on WBS structure as specified in the coding mask. For level 3 onwards after 16 characters it is truncated to the 16th character. When I double click in the wbs field it shows the detail screen of that WBS element where it is displayed properly. It is confusing for me. Kindly suggest me how can I fix this problem?
