Material ledger: manage additional transaction key as well as PRD and classify them as price differences

Hi gurus, my customer is asking me to create a Z transaction key very similar to PRD.

My concern is about material ledger because I'm not sure that the Z transaction will be hItted by material ledger as well as PRD and classify that variance as price differences.

I would appreciate any suggestion coming from you.
