Hello,
Our client wants to set a customer-defined date as the Next Planned Date (MHIS-NPLDA) when starting a maintenance plan.
We have used the user-exit 'EXIT_SAPLIPM5_001' to override the calculated Next Planned Date (MHIS-NPLDA) when starting the maintenance plan (either through transaction IP10 or when using the function module 'MPLAN_START' ).
The customer-defined date is correctly updated to MHIS-NPLDA, and the correct date is displayed when viewing the maintenance plan in transaction IP03.
However, if we open transaction IP10, the system redetermines the next planned date and displays the latter instead of the one stored in table MHIS.
We noticed that this only happens when the next planned date set is a date in the future.
Can anyone explain why this is the case and if there is a solution to this problem?
Is there a configuration that is linked to the determination of the next planned date that is triggering this process?
Thanks & Regards,
Smeeta
