Our customer service is handling hundreds of different types of insurance claim applications. We are currently using PS for resource scheduling. As we have hundreds of different types of insurances, we create multiple projects.
These insurance types are then divided into network activities in a huge project structures. We are using CMP3 (SAP version ECC6) to assign network activities to a personnel resource. But, as we have hundreds of employees in one office, the current way of resource scheduling is really a nightmare for the supervisors. Hence we are considering to start using MRS.
Now... the questions:
Is there any easy possibility to integrate the MRS to the SAP PS by means of customizing or a little developments?
Or will a more costly approach be needed?
Is it possible to customize CMP3 so that we could to allocate tasks from different projects for the same team/employee at once?
Cost/time/in practice?
Any other advice?
