I have following scenario, please help me find out the reason for this behaviour :-
Scenario - Whenever the user tries to create a vendor invoice or a credit memo, the dummy profit center gets populated if a cost center is not entered initially. I checked OKB9 settings and found that for the GL accounts that the user is entering in the invoice/credit memo - Profitability segment has been selected. I also checked the cost center master data and found that correct profit is assigned to the cost center master data.
Issue - User wants that dummy profit is NOT populated when the invoice/credit memo is created. In case user, forgets to enter the cost center, the system should not pick dummy profit center by default. Kindly suggest if settings in OKB9 are changed, would it have the desired impact. In case the settings in OKB9 are changed, what other impact would it have. If OKB9 settings do not have any connection with dummy profit center, what should be done to resolve the issue.
